Our mission is to provide young children and their parents with the foundation for healthy development and outstanding education to live healthier, happier lives in the most natural of settings, while exploring, utilizing and learning to trust nature's abundant resources.

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively through the living and creative arts. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships with loving educators along with their peers of varying ages.
OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that it takes a village to raise healthy happy families. An effective educational and child care model is one that seeks to provide the right environment not only for the child but for the parents as well. By offering parents a community of like-minded people to connect with, find support in and a place to go for trustworthy information, education, classes/workshops, wellness & lifestyle coaching, child care services, nutrition counseling and much more... we're helping to strengthen today's family model and really setting a solid foundation for our children, our future.
In our Grades and Nursery Preschool Programs, children are met with a supportive nature-inspired environment which is safe and inviting. Paving the way for outstanding cognitive and psychosocial development, and preparing children for school and furthermore, life. We offer a home-like space with a solid foundation made up of what are known by researchers as the 6 Developmental Priming Mechanisms:
Encouragement to explore.
Mentoring in basic cognitive and social skills, such as basic inquiry, investigation, labeling things, sorting, comparing, etc...
Celebration of their accomplishments.
Guidance in practicing and expanding their skills.
Protection form inappropriate punishment, testing, or disapproval for mistakes or unintended consequences of exploring and trying out skills.
Stimulation of language and other symbolic communication.
Our unique educational and childcare programs draw inspiration from Waldorf Education, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori, and offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease. Promised Land is not just a place to learn academic skills but most of all to learn important life-skills and concepts for healthy living from the start: Nature-connection, problem-solving, self-regulation, art expression, mindfulness, nutrition, cooking, and much more...
Our educational philosophy can be best summarized in these words, we strive to provide the most holistic education experience in partnership with families, where LIFE is the curriculum and NATURE is our textbook.

What We’re All About
Promised Land is a community of faith rooted in the love of God and a deep desire for good stewardship of God's Nature as He created it. We are private ministry of education who believe worship is not just found in prayer and within church walls, but most of all in the family, in learning and exploring...in how we educate our children...in everyday living...it is something expressed in everything we do!
As a result, our philosophy is deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures, life’s only guidebook.
Promised Land adheres to a holistic approach to childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and offer various learning experiences through the living arts, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of their true selves and a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our homeschool programs, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
ECO-CONSCIOUS
Following the principles of the Children's Environmental Health Network's Eco-Healthy Child Care®, we've created an early learning environment that is healthier and safer by reducing children's exposure to harmful chemicals, selecting safer natural materials, cleaning products, even pest control services, and more...
That is just one of the ways Promised Land is meeting higher standards in child care and aspiring to set a set new a benchmark for quality in the field of early childhood care and education.

OUTDOOR FUN
& NATURE EXPLORATION
More than just for a "recess", outdoors is an extension of the learning and living space. A place for story time, lunch or snacks, sensory play & nature exploration, walks or even tree & rock-climbing. At the Promised Land, we enjoy the outdoors quite a bit and we like to think that the outdoors enjoy us too! =)
